Simon and his uncle and aunt was going back to London from York. In the train station Simon saw this photo booth and he wanted to take pictures. When the pictures came out he saw his pictures but his third picture was not a picture of him at all it was a picture of a man with a yellow face. When it was time to go back to London Simon was scared because he thought the man with the yellow face was giving him a sign but his aunt and uncle still forced him to go. While Simon was in the train there was an accident and 9 people died and 29 was injured and Simon was one of those people who got badly injured and all that happened 30 years ago. But who is that man with the yellow face?

Hey, Nadia, who wrote this mysterious sounding book? You've given it only ***, but the story line is intriguing. What happens 30 years after the train crash that brings up the man with the yellow face? Des Simon still have the pictures?

If I remember well, Simon himself is the man with the yellow face. The face is staring up at him from the mirror. The reason why he looks like that is because of his injuries from the trainwreck (burns, I think). So the picture was actually an image from the future.
the man with the yellow face is simon. Simon is badly injured in the train crash so he plastic surgery. The picture was a warning for what he would look like after the crash.
