The Hitchhiker

****
By: Anthony Horowitz

Jacob was happy to have his 15th birthday in Southwolds which also one of his favorite place to be. On the way to Southwolds his dad saw a man on the road in the big and stormy night. Jacob's dad offered the man a lift and that man was acting weird in the car. Jacob saw when the man was putting his hand on his thigh his fingers ended up on his knee and Jacob saw blood going down to his hand. Jacob tought that the man was going to kill him. Jacob remembered that he was'nt sitting on that side of the car because his parents told him that the door was broken. It was dangerouse to sit at that side of the car which the man was sitting there, at that end Jacob pushed him to the road and the man was hit by a big truck and he became into mincemeat.

Eeeeewww! Gross! There must be more to this story. Maybe the man was hurt and needed help? Why would Jacob just push him out? Who wrote this book? I may have to find it to read.

Whoaaaa....what an ending. This seems very strange, Nadia, that a book would end without knowing any more about this man or event. I'd love to see the hitchhiker and check out some of the questions I have in my mind.
