The Man With The Yellow Face

Simon and his uncle and aunt was going back to London from York. In the train station Simon saw this photo booth and he wanted to take pictures. When the pictures came out he saw his pictures but his third picture was not a picture of him at all it was a picture of a man with a yellow face. When it was time to go back to London Simon was scared because he thought the man with the yellow face was giving him a sign but his aunt and uncle still forced him to go. While Simon was in the train there was an accident and 9 people died and 29 was injured and Simon was one of those people who got badly injured and all that happened 30 years ago. But who is that man with the yellow face?

Characterization of The Hitchhiker

I am reading this book called the Hitchhiker. And the author of the book is Anthony Horowitz he is a really good writer.

On page 41 I think the dad of Jacob (John) is a nice person. Because he offers someone for a ride when it was an awfull stormy day. I thought something like that because Jacob and his mom does not want to offer the stranger a ride.

On page 43 John likes to help people and makes everybody happy and sometimes he likes to annoy his wife I think he is an easy going person. "My father knew he had annoyed my mother and he was determinded to be cheerful and chatty."

On Page 43 I think Mr. Rellik is a really mysteriouse person. Because his fingers are so long that he put his hand on his thigh and it ended up on his knee. And a scar on his eye to his cheek and his eyes are not even. "His fingers are unusually long. One hand was resting on his thigh and his fingers reached all the way to his knee."

I enjoy this book a lot because it is scary (I like scary stories) and this book is also interesting.

Jacob was happy to have his 15th birthday in Southwolds which also one of his favorite place to be. On the way to Southwolds his dad saw a man on the road in the big and stormy night. Jacob's dad offered the man a lift and that man was acting weird in the car. Jacob saw when the man was putting his hand on his thigh his fingers ended up on his knee and Jacob saw blood going down to his hand. Jacob tought that the man was going to kill him. Jacob remembered that he was'nt sitting on that side of the car because his parents told him that the door was broken. It was dangerouse to sit at that side of the car which the man was sitting there, at that end Jacob pushed him to the road and the man was hit by a big truck and he became into mincemeat.

Indonesian Eartquake 2009

This picture shown on the right is the Indonesian earthquake. This happened on the 2nd of September 2009. Indonesia got the earthquake because it is in the Ring of Fire and the Ring of Fire goes around Australia, Indonesia, Japan and California.

There are not going to be any Landslides in Indonesia because Indonesia is a flat counrty and there would be land slides in there would be alot of mountains there.

I was in the earthquake. I was in school I went down the stairs and I felt really dizzy and I went downstairs and everybody was running out to the field and my mom told me that it was an earthquake and I got suprised. When I went in the car I saw a school and everybody was outside. But animals know what was going to happen like there was this snake at school and it went into a hole and I think that snake knows what was going to happen to that day.The Earthquake was 7,3 scala richter and that was a really big earthquake, 45 people died in Tasikmalaya and Cianjur, west Java and in Jakarta 6 people went to the hospital and got hospitalized.

And when there was an earthquake alot of buildings got damadged. And mostly people died in a earthquake because of buildings falling on them and they die from it. and when the earthquake was happening some buildings were wiggling and they get damaged and some stuff fall on people and they die from that. And from the tall buildings that humans made and when there was an earthqake they fall and kill some people. So ust be carefull.
