David got a new phone from his dad. He was really happy because in school everyone has a phone even some people never make any calls they just think it's cool. But one day an old man named Eric called him and said that can you tell my wife the ring is under the fridge but David doesn't know that person. The man told David his address and to tell his wife the message. When David went to that address and told Eric's wife that the ring is under the fridge the wife cried. David apologized to her and she said it's okay and she told David that Eric died and when he died she tried to find his ring but she could not find it maybe it rolled down under the fridge she thought. Soon David received some calls from strangers telling him to tell someone a message.
I can't tell you anymore about this story you have to read it yourself!

The Reptile Room
Lemony Snicket
*****
The three Baudelaire Orphans is now living with their uncle Monty. Uncle Monty is a herpetologist and he has a really BIG room filled with types of reptiles the room is called "The Reptile Room"
Uncle Monty wanted to bring the three orphans to Peru but when Uncle Monty's assistant arrived to his house something happened. Slowly and slowly Violet discovered that Uncle Monty's assistant Stephano is actually Count Olaf! Count Olaf shaved his hair and eye brows and put makeup on his eye tattoo of his ankle so no body knows it's him. Count Olaf wants to bring the three orphans to Peru and take their Baudelaire fortune by doing that he has to kill Uncle Monty and take his ticket.
Count Olaf almost brought the three orphans to Peru but the orphans discovered that Count Olaf injected one of the snake's venom to Uncle Monty's and made an extra hole on Uncle Monty's hand so it looks like a snake bite. The orphans told how Count Olaf killed Uncle Monty to Mr. Poe and Mr. Poe wanted to bring Count Olaf to jail but Dr. Lucafont brought Count Olaf with him but Sunny the youngest Baudelaire discovered that Dr. Lucafont is one of Count Olaf's friend so both of them escaped.
Now I can't tell you anymore because you have to read the book yourself.
My favorite part of the book is when Violet discovered that Stephano is actually Count Olaf and I love this book soooooo much that I think you should read it too.

The Bad Beginning
*****
Lemony Snicket
This story does start with a bad beginning. As Mr. Poe told the Baudelaire children that their parents sadly died in a fire. The children have to stay with a very unpleasant man named Count Olaf which is now their guardian. Count Olaf can be nice in front of Mr. Poe or anyone else but he leaves the children some very hard chores like for example cooking dinner for Count Olaf and his theater troupe.
The children would have a very fun time with Count Olaf's kind neighbor named Justice Strauss and also reading in her nice library.
Count Olaf actually wants the Baudelaire fortune and to own it he have to marry Violet but Violet have to say "I do" in the marriage if she doesn't Sunny will be dropped from the tall tower but Violet did a smart thing she said "I do" but he also signed the form with her left hand she has to sign it with her right hand because she is right handed. Her marriage with Count Olaf is canceled. Count Olaf was supposed to be arrested but that didn't happen because he escaped with his friends. The Baudelaire orphans have no one to live with they were about to stay with Justice Strauss but she wasn't a relative so they stayed with Mr. Poe for a while but they don't know who are they staying with next anyways where is Count Olaf going? and what is he up to next?

When the pictures came out he saw his pictures but his third picture was not a picture of him at all it was a picture of a man with a yellow face. When it was time to go back to London Simon was scared because he thought the man with the yellow face was giving him a sign but his aunt and uncle still forced him to go. While Simon was in the train there was an accident and 9 people died and 29 was injured and Simon was one of those people who got badly injured and all that happened 30 years ago. But who is that man with the yellow face?

Jacob was happy to have his 15th birthday in Southwolds which also one of his favorite place to be. On the way to Southwolds his dad saw a man on the road in the big and stormy night. Jacob's dad offered the man a lift and that man was acting weird in the car. Jacob saw when the man was putting his hand on his thigh his fingers ended up on his knee and Jacob saw blood going down to his hand. Jacob tought that the man was going to kill him. Jacob remembered that he was'nt sitting on that side of the car because his parents told him that the door was broken. It was dangerouse to sit at that side of the car which the man was sitting there, at that end Jacob pushed him to the road and the man was hit by a big truck and he became into mincemeat.

****

India Opal Buloni is an ordinary kid. She has a dog named Winn-Dixie, she found that dog in the Winn-Dixie grocery store. Her dad is a preacher and her mom left her and her dad when she was just three years old. When Opal moved to Naomi because of Winn-Dixie she met alot of new friends. She met Miss Franny Block. Miss Franny Block is an librarian in the Herman W. Block Memorial Library. And she also met Otis. Otis works at the Gertude's Pets he is really talented in music. Opal also met Sweety Pie Thomas, she is a five year old girl and she invited Opal for her Sixth birthday. There are these two boys that Opal does not like they are Stevie and Dunlamp Dewberry they are really anoying and mean to Opal. Opal met Gloria Dump in the forest. First the Dewberry boys said that there is a witch in that forest but Opal did not belive them and when she met Gloria Dump she is actually a really nice lady and Opal became close friends with her. She also met Amanda. Amanda is actually a normal girl but Opal met her in the Library. Towards the end, Opal borrowed a book from the Herman W. Block Memorial Library. The book is called "Gone With The Wind" the book is about the Civil War Miss Franny Block's Great grandfather is actually a famous candy maker. He was an orphan and he was sad and he wanted to have something sweet and he invented candy that you eat and you feel sweetness and sadness in the same time the candy is called Littmus Lozenge and Opal borrowed that book to read it out loud to Gloria Dump. When Opal read that book to Gloria Dump, she had and Idea to make a party and she invited Otis, The preacher, Miss Franny Block, The Dewberry Boys, Sweety Pie and Amanda. They had a normal fine Party, then it started to rain and every body went in and she forgot Winn-Dixie. She looked outside with the preacher and she went out to search and she can't find Winn-Dixie anywhere. When she came back to Gloria Dump's house, everybody was smiling they were happy and Opal was wondering why are they happy if Winn-Dixie was missing, and she told Gloria Dump that she can't find Winn-Dixie. Gloria Dump said that you can't find Winn-Dixie because he was right here all the time. And the party continued and every thing was just fine.
I give "Because of Winn-Dixie" a four star book and I like this book and it is really good.
